I didn’t even vent on tumblr how Open Gym went. I’m trying out for basketball this year. Never been on a team before. I didn’t know much. But I fell i’m not gonna lie. But I mean it was my first time & I really dgaf. But I really love basketball. & I’m happy that I grew some “balls” & decided to try out. Today I went to my brother in law’s basketball game. & Driving to ta game he told me that I can call him any day and he will practice with me after work. And you know I don’t have anyone else in my family that ever offers help well besides my sisters. But it really meant a lot. & As we were driving home he told me about what I needed to know more for basketball. He told me his high school experiences playing ball. And just was giving me so much feed back and really inspiring me. Tmmrw he’s taking me to ta Convention Center & Seaport Village to run Stairs and I’m fucking nervous! Cuz last time I had practice w/ him at Basketball & gon’ running w/ him. He works my ass off. But I’m excited to be joining something new. And I just hope that I make it on ta Girls Basketball team & Actually have play time.
